The Hamptons are the summer getaway spot for rich New Yorkers — and a hot spot for an ecological conflict that is also playing out across the country: deer overpopulation. The Hamptons are also where Eve Bishop grew up, with Lyme disease and deer roadkill as regular parts of life, and issues like wildlife management and animal rights issues getting more and more divisive.
In this four-part miniseries, Eve interviews everyone from hunters to animal rescuers, as she wrestles herself with how humans and animals should coexist.
